Cowtail Stingray in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK)

This is what the family saw when strolling down the beach yesterday.

• Generally Not Aggressive: Stingrays are shy and non-aggressive creatures. They usually avoid human interaction and prefer to bury themselves in the sand.

• Only Defensive Stings: They only sting when stepped on or threatened. Their sting is a defence mechanism, not an attack.
